Junior Development Day in Alice Springs:
Alice Springs Triathlon Club is conducting a Junior Development Training Session on Sunday 14 Feb 2010 from 7am -8am.
Junior participation is a high priority for the Club. Tony Knott is conducting the first dedicated session for kids on Sunday. It's a non-competitive, skills-based session with the emphasis on "the swim to the bike". Suitable for all levels.
Registration is $3 for non members, $1 for junior club members.

January 2010:
Triathlon NT is delighted to announce the appointment of Lee Wilson as Junior Development Coach (Darwin based).
Lee is an experienced TA Recognised Practising Level 1 Triathlon Coach and will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of Triathlon NT's junior development plan.
The primary purpose of the part time position is to facilitate participation and development through establishing pathways for junior triathletes to improve and progress at all levels of ability.
Lee will be working closely with all Territory triathlon coaches to provide opportunities for junior skills development.
We congratulate Lee on his appointment.
Triathlon NT Development Officer
Kylie Sheffield will continue to assist regional areas as the Triathlon NT Development Officer in 2010 until a replacement is appointed. Kylie's input has assisted Triathlon NT to set specific goal's for expanding the sport of triathlon into regional areas of the NT, and increasing junior interest and participation.
